Hey! My name is Ian and I'm a current student at the University of Cincinnati studying industrial design with an emphasis in packaging and consumer electronics.

I strive to design  products that don't ask the user to adapt to them, but rather adapt to the people using them. Every product tells a story and as such I look towards small moments of everyday use, where products are bent, adjusted, or worked around.

My designs focus on simplifying systems without losing appeal through restraint rather than excess. I am particularly drawn to packaging and electronics because It's the small design decisions in these spaces that can dramatically shape usability and user experiences.

Cooking, drawing, and playing games influence my creativity outside of designing and continue to teach me about process, iteration, and user feedback; whether that's perfecting a recipe, sketching, or just playing.
